Logitech launched the first Logitech Wireless Solar Keyboard K750. This is the company’s first light-powered wireless keyboard. Logitech announced that when we first sat down to build the keyboard, we wanted to design it so that it would deliver the superior performance people have come to expect from Logitech products, even in areas where there is little light like in the artic circle. So, they created a keyboard that powers itself whenever there’s light using integrated solar panels — no power bricks or charging cables needed. But, even though it’s powered by light, the keyboard can operate for up to three months in total darkness. Wow that,s amazing we never thought there would be such low power gadget.
On the purchase package we will obtain small microfiber cloth to clean the keyboard, a small USB receiver, and a USB extender. Its USB receiver allows us to make pairing the mouse and keyboard to the same computer. On this keyboard you can find an application with the name Solar App, where the application is useful for displaying information on remaining battery level and the level of light obtained by the solar panels for charging.
As the name implies, the main attraction of this keyboard is the original source of energy. In terms of ergonomics, its smaller than the size of a standard keyboard in general may be a constraint and feel less comfortable for some people but makes it more portable for people who are mobile.
